The Free Market Monument Foundation

"It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we expect our dinner, but from regard to their own interest. We address ourselves, not to their humanity but to their self-love, and never talk to them of our own necessities but of their advantages. Nobody but a beggar chooses to depend chiefly upon the benevolence of his fellow citizens."

-- Adam Smith (1723 - 1790) Scottish philosopher

Promotions:

The Free Market Monument Foundation intends to run radio, web, magazine advertisements and possibly even television advertisements. We may have other forms of advertising as well. Constructing the Free Market Monument will be a community effort. Once it's complete we would like to build a Free Market Museum and visitor center, which might eventually become profitable on it's own, but there are no guarantees. We intend to make our advertising available here for your enjoyment and/or scrutiny in any case.
